'Refuse To Be A Victim' Course

SYNOPSIS: A team of NRA Certified Instructors with the Southern Minnesota Sportsman's Club will provide the 'Refuse To Be A Victim' course.  The 4-hour course was developed in 1993 in response to women nationwide who requested crime prevention and personal safety information.  Experts agree the single most important step is making the decision to refuse to be a victim.  Criminals prefer easy targets.  You stand a much better chance of preventing criminal attack if you make yourself difficult to prey upon.  That means you must have an overall personal safety strategy in place before you need it.    The course discusses numerous other safety measures and options you need to develop a complete personal safety strategy:
