Ranges

Hand Gun RangeThis range has target holders at 3 yards, 5 yards, 7 yards, 15 yards, and 25 yards. It is an ideal range for new shooters, target practice, 22 rim fire rifles, and general pistol shooting with its variety of shooting distances. You may use Revolvers, Pistols and 22 caliber rim fire rifles only, 22 caliber Rim Fire through .45 Cal. Maximum. No shotguns or center fire rifles allowed on this range.

25/50 Yard Range The 25 and 50 yard range is divided into four sections to isolate shooters so the entire range does not have to be cleared to move forward to replace targets.
100/200 Yard Range Looking down range on the 100 and 200 yard range. On the right you can see covered Bench rests on the 100 and 200 yard range. There are 5 bench rest positions. Two can be used by either right or left hand shooters.
Falling Plate Range This range is for pistol and 22 rim fire rifles only. This is the most popular range on site and the only range where rapid fire is allowed while shooting at the plates.
WARNING–For your protection, shooting steel plates can and do cause bullet fragments to fly back to the shooting area. Without exception safety glasses are REQUIRED for everyone (shooters and spectators) on this range.  You must shoot only from the marked firing line which is at 33 feet from the targets.

Trap Range The Southern Minnesota Trap Club is a separate club located on the Southern Minnesota SPORTSMAN’S CLUB Range. Membership to the Southern Minnesota Trap Club gives you only privileges to use the trap range. For information on joining the Southern Minnesota Trap Club call (507) 218-8869. The trap range features two lighted trap fields with automatic voice activated traps.

Southern Minnesota Trap Club Membership information:

Yearly: $20.00 per year.
Memberships run from October to October
Life: $200.00
Benefits: Reduced price per round of trap.
Others benefits discussed when you join.

Sunday 10 AM – 1 PM
Tuesday 7 PM – 10 PM

Winter League:

300 targets
Starts first part of November and runs to April

12 gauge trap shells are available at the club house.
